I’m very excited to share that we’ve officially split our LMC Agency and Liz McVoy Coaching websites!
When I started my business in 2019, I had hopes and dreams of running a creative studio that offered brand development, web design, and video production. Most of my business was through referrals, word-of-mouth, or repeat clients who needed continual help, so my website’s purpose was to have some digital presence and display my portfolio.
Here is what ultimately prompted the separation of my agency with the personal brand and coaching side of the business.
In 2020 when I decided to branch into coaching creative entrepreneurs, I began layering in other elements to the website like a blog, helpful resources, sales pages, courses, programs…. it started to evolve quicker than the website could adapt. The messaging was slowly shifting to be more casual, personal, and playful (which I love) and I felt like my website was becoming a little corner of the internet where others could come to feel inspired, seen, and encouraged.
But more than that, I wanted my audience, you, to feel empowered and equipped to do what you do best! Oftentimes, that means you’re not the one living in the marketing strategy, brand positioning, or the fine details that go along with a comprehensive business strategy. This is totally normal because chances are, you began your business with a dream and you’ve built it from the ground up, likely changing the “floor plan” along the way to fit new ideas, needs, etc.
Like you, the layout of my business has evolved a lot over three years. What used to be two different arms of the business under one name and one website no longer felt expansive but restrictive. So I knew it was time for a change.
