My best tips for launching in your business

HOW I LAUNCHED MY FIRST ONLINE COURSE IN LESS THAN FOUR WEEKS… And during a global pandemic no less!

Short answer: Google docs, community support, and a whole lot of determination.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When COVID hit the U.S. hard and everyone quickly went online, I noticed three things:

In-person offerings were rapidly moving online⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Video became more essential than ever.⠀⠀

Many businesses and entrepreneurs had no idea how to start using video in their business.

So I created my first online course called The Media Maker Lab, which is my 5-step process to help you plan, record, and edit great media content so you can take your online course and business to the next level.⠀

With the support of an amazing group of women, getting majorly detailed and organized in google docs, and using my video production background combined with my storytelling strategies, I planned, recorded, promoted, and launched the course in less than 4 weeks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh and did I mention I was 37 weeks pregnant and under a stay-at-home order during all of this?

Here are my tips if you’re looking to launch your own course, new product, or service.

Get super clear on your offer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Who is it for, how will it help them, and how can you position yourself to be the obvious solution.⠀⠀⠀⠀

Create a master outline in Google Docs.

I did this and it included everything from my lead-up marketing to my email copy, web copy, promotional materials, course content, and funnel strategy.

Set up accountability

Hold yourself accountable and find a buddy to check-in on you from time to time.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Messy action is better than waiting until everything is perfect because it means you’ll get your offer out in the world sooner rather than…. never. Progress over perfection; action over inaction. You’ve got this!

I’d love to know what you’re looking to launch next. Is a course on the to-do list? What are your biggest obstacles along the way? Let me know!
