Social media trends and consumption habits can easily lead to a culture that consumes vs connects.
The other day I shared a video with my unfiltered thoughts about consumption culture. As a business owner, social media is likely a big part of your marketing strategy.
So how can you leverage this free tool to create connections and greater profit?
First let's discuss the difference between "using" social media versus being "on" social media.
USING SOCIAL: Creating entertaining, educational, and engaging content that positions your business and boosts your know like and trust factor. *This also means engaging with intention*
BEING “ON” SOCIAL: Only posting during launches, maybe throwing in a summer vacay pic, and don’t forget your new puppy.
In a minute I’ll share the best way to use this tool. In the meantime….
Let's talk about social media trends
I wanna binge-eat chocolate sea salt caramels and shout into the void when I see business owners get sucked into unhelpful social media trends (I’m lookin at you click-baity reels & tiktok videos).
K I’ll be honest, I wanna binge-eat those chocolates ALL the time, but I really feel strongly about not letting social media put you in a cage draining your time w/o moving the needle in your business!
Clients have hired me cause they feel like they’re stuck creating video after video, blogs on blogs, post after post…. They needed real change to happen!
With my coaching and guidance, they gained more clarity in their business structure. They were able to have a realistic plan which led to more clients and more reliable income. They were able to do things like:
1) Retire a spouse
2) Sell their home and move cross-country
3) Keep their kids home with more
4) Order the drool-worthy dessert at a fancy restaurant without worry about the $$.

I know you’ve got big dreams for your life so even if we’re not working together in a formal capacity, I wanna help!
Here’s your marketing plan for more sales this month:
Step 1: Start conversations with original and trending content to capitalize on reach + exposure.
Step 2: Share a longer piece of content (hello video!) where you educate + nurture around their pressure points and WHY they need your help.
Step 3: Develop your relationships so that they lead to mutual benefit.
It’s not always about quantity my friend, it’s about quality. Thoughts? Questions? Let’s chat about YOUR marketing plan over coffee.
xoxo, Liz
